Ningbo GMF New Material Technology Co., Ltd. uses the principle of Gas phase differential to manufacture E-TPU particles which contain a large number of micro-pore structures with bubble diameters ranging from 30µm to 300µm. The particles that like popcorn can expand 5-8 times compared with original volume because of a lot of gas wrapped inside the microcells. Compared with the traditional foam material, the unique foam principle endows the particles with low density, strong resilience and excellent flexibility. By using the Steam molding process, about 2000 pieces E-TPU particles are processed into the midsole in the meanwhile that the outer layer of the particle is slightly melted and the inner pores are not affected. The shaped E-TPU midsole can be compressed to half of the size under pressure. When the pressure is gone, they can quickly bounce back to the original shape, greatly reducing the shock force on the soles of the feet.
The technology introduction of E-TPU
Based on physical foaming method, GMF makes TPU raw materials completely impregnated in supercritical fluid. Undermine the balance state of polymer/gas homogeneous system inside the material by changing environmental conditions. Then the formation and growth of cell nuclei happens inside the material. Thus, we get the expanded TPU foam material. They can expand 5-8 times compared with original volume because of a lot of gas wrapped inside the microcells. The particles contain a large number of internal microcells with diameters ranging from 30µm to 300µm. The particles with closed cell structure have excellent resilience.
